SESSIONS HAVE THE USE OF ONLY ONE LOCATION, WHY ?
Time is precious for everyone. I have found that it is quite the hassle to drive around to different locations during a shoot -- packing up, finding parking, etc. It's just too much, especially with littles. When choosing the perfect location for a client, I make sure that there are several spots to shoot within that one location. This gives the images variety, as well as giving clients peace of mind that we will not have to spend time + patience fully relocating.
WHAT IS YOUR SHOOTING STYLE ?
I combine timeless portrait posing + lifestyle shooting. I love capturing connection + movement, so I may set you up to get started, but I let the pose evolve and move from there -- capturing all the details in between. I find that it is in these moments that really help to show the uniqueness of your story + create images that you will treasure.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR DELIVERY OF MY IMAGES ?
Your digital images will be available around 3 weeks from the date of your session. Any additional items ordered from your online gallery will be available for up to 3 weeks from the order date.
HOW MANY IMAGES ARE DELIVERED TO MY GALLERY ?
Your gallery will have minimum 50 images. From these images, you can select your favorite 25 images for download. I like to let my clients pick their favorites from the session, as some images may have captured a moment or smile that holds more meaning to a client.
CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN THE 25 IMAGES THAT COME WITH MY COLLECTION ?
Of course! Upon viewing your gallery, if you decide you want more images, simply let me know. All the remaining images in your gallery can be purchased for an additional investment of $250 plus tax.
POLICIES regarding BOOKING
A Session Contract will be emailed to you + is required prior to the capturing your session. If you have any questions regarding the contract, please let me know immediately. Sessions are not considered booked until the contract is signed + the Retainer is paid.
A Session Retainer allows for clients to reserve a block of time on the calendar for their session, so that other clients cannot book during that time frame. Due to this, the Session Retainer is non-refundable. It is transferrable to a new session date scheduled within 6 months, if an emergency arrises + needing to reschedule. The Retainer is subtracted from the overall Session Fee. (see below). Portrait Retainers are $100 and Wedding Retainers are $500.
The remaining balance of the Session Fee is due prior to the shoot. An invoice will be emailed to you for an easy online payment. Balance due for Portrait Sessions is 1 week prior to session date, for Weddings the balance is due 1 month before wedding date.
Washington Sales Tax will be applied at all invoicing. Any additional investment items purchased will also be applicable for taxes.

Sometimes the weather just does not want to cooperate. Especially in the PNW -- but it's a small price to pay for being surrounded by such beauty! If the day of your photoshoot arrives + the weather is not as planned, there are a few options for your photoshoot.

We may be able to use an alternate location to shoot. If you choose this, keep in mind that the shoot will look a little differently than you had in mind -- a grassy field will not express the same look as a covered setting. But the images will be just as lovely! Sometimes this, or the previous option, is best as busy schedules can be difficult to rebook.
