ANNILEISE + AODHAN

When Aodhan was little, his mom said he was just always hugging everyone… like the big squeezing overly hugging kind of hugs. He just loved hugging people. And when he met Anni, it was like he was complete. She was his perfect fit, she loved how hard he always was hugging her. It is pretty adorable watching these two interact, you can tell they found their perfect match in each other.

Anni got ready at the Bellevue Club, while Aodhan got ready at his family home. Though each space was quite different, it was still the same — filled with love and family who were beyond excited and emotional that these two were finally getting married. The longing looks throughout the day from each of their moms says it all, and Anni’s dad was the absolute sweetest during the first look with his daughter. It brought me to tears, and he held her so long with such beautiful words of blessings.

Anni + Aodhan opted for a first no-look because it was really important to them to have those intense feelings in church as she walked down the aisle. I found the perfect corner at St Monica’s Catholic Church, tucked away from everyon, so they could still have an intimate moment together. It was darling hearing them tell each other the events of their morning getting ready, and all the anticipation they have for getting married. Aodhan gave Anni a beautiful bracelet for her to wear that day and it brought all the happy tears, adding to the excitement of the day. They didn’t want to leave each other.

Most of the wedding day was private so am sharing those key moments, mostly in black & white as the emotions portrayed need no color, you can better feel just how beautiful. We did portraits around the grounds of St Monica’s Church and the rhododendron bushes were stunningly in full bloom, as if they were celebrating as well. The reception was flowing with warmth and a rose colored glow, loud with family and friends cherishing every moment together.

This whole group made me feel like family the entire day and I feel so blessed in these moments to be there capturing alllll this love.
