Lawrence + Cha-ning currently live in Texas, so not being able to see family as often as they are used too has been really hard. They both work for American Airlines so in pre-Covid travel to Washington State to visit family was not really as big of deal as it is now.
L+C’s love story started off sweet, as they we were truly just friends at first. But now 7 years later, they are officially getting married. It’s safe to say that an intimate elopement wasn’t their original plan for a wedding, however they are actually are pretty okay with the route they are having to take due to Covid. Cha-ning said that their family is spread all over the world, and in a time like this it’s just not the right thing to try to gather everyone from all over for a wedding. But at the same time, they didn’t want to wait any longer to begin the next chapter in their lives. And realizing this was the most important thing for them as a couple, they moved forward and planned this intimate elopement.
L+C scheduled their elopement ceremony at the Seattle District Court near Pioneer Square, and loved the idea of being so close to the Market area for portraits afterwards. They were even able to have a few special family members attend the intimate ceremony at the courthouse! Then after we hit some spots around Seattle by Pike Place Market and Gasworks Park for their portraits and had the best time soaking up the city sights!
