I met with Ana + Clint in the Cascade Mountains near Snoqualmie Pass for their engagement session and the evening couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was setting, the Bob Ross clouds were giving depth to the sky, and the wind was so calm the reflection on Gold Creek Pond could show us all her beauty. I seriously love shooting at this location because it is such a perfect mix of scenery — the stunning mountain range, the pond, lush forrest, and a little bridge. It showcases all the PNW colors so well too!
Having engagement sessions with my wedding couples is so much fun because we get to break the ice, so to say, and get a little goofy while getting tp know each other before the big day. I love hearing how couples met, fall in love, and propose — love is seriously wild. And I truly tear up shooting my couples, it’s such a beautiful thing to be near.
And one of my favorite things to hear at the end of a session. “That was SO much fun! We cannot wait for our wedding day.” Yeah, me too!
