The historic Hall at Fauntleroy

Nestled in a tree-lined neighborhood in West Seattle, the Hall at Fauntleroy is one of those beloved venues. It feels special the moment you walk in. Originally built as a schoolhouse in the early 1900s, the historic building has been thoughtfully preserved. Exposed brick walls and soaring ceilings define the space. Large windows look out over a wooded ravine. Together, these elements strike a rare balance. The venue is close enough to Seattle’s skyline to feel connected. Yet, it’s removed enough to feel like a world of its own. The indoor spaces flow naturally into a lovely outdoor courtyard. Additionally, a grassy ceremony area completes the setting, feeling like an enchanted secret garden. There’s a warmth and character here that’s hard to manufacture. This kind of charm comes from a building with real history. Moreover, it comes from a community that has celebrated within these walls for decades.

Beautiful moments from the day

Even though the stormy weather made events pivot to the indoor event areas, the cool rain couldn’t put a damper on anyone’s excitement. This wedding was simply beautiful. Green, pale pink, and white florals showcased a minimal yet elegant style. Additionally, the day was full of intimate moments with those dear to them. A+C held their First Look and Portraits at a nearby park. Huge oak trees provided a bit of coverage from the rain.

Amy also had a separate First Look for just her dad and three brothers. Afterward, she gave personalized heartfelt letters to each of them, including her mom. Before the service, A+C held a private prayer with their pastor. Together, they took a moment to gather and receive a blessing on their marriage. The whole day was steeped in love and absolute joy. Finally, the evening ended with dancing, yummy pumpkin pie, and a shot of fireball!
