Nestled in a tree-lined neighborhood in West Seattle, the Hall at Fauntleroy is one of those beloved venues that feels special the moment you walk in. Originally built as a schoolhouse in the early 1900s, the historic building has been thoughtfully preserved, with exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, and large windows that look out over a wooded ravine. It strikes a rare balance — close enough to Seattle’s skyline to feel connected, yet removed enough to feel like a world of its own. The indoor spaces flow naturally into a lovely outdoor courtyard and grassy ceremony area that feels like an enchanted secret garden. There’s a warmth and character here that’s hard to manufacture, the kind that comes from a building with real history and a community that has celebrated within the walls for decades.
Even though the stormy weather made events pivot to the indoor event areas, the cool rain couldn’t put a damper on anyones excitement for this wedding. Their day was simply beautiful with green, pale pink, and white florals showcasing a minimal yet elegant style, and full of intimate moments with those dear to them. A+C held their First Look and Portraits at a near by park, with huge oak trees providing a bit of coverage from the rain. Amy also had a separate First Look for just her dad and three brothers, and after gave personalized heartfelt letters to each of them, including her mom. Before the service, A+C held a private prayer with their pastor, taking a moment to gather and receive a blessing on their marriage. The whole day was steeped in love and absolute joy… and the evening ended with dancing, yummy pumpkin pie, and a shot of fireball!
