We shot Jake and Cole’s engagement session down by the Tacoma Waterfront, near 5 mile drive. They wanted the best of both worlds as far as a setting, taking in the wonders of a forest yet having some water vibes — this was the perfect spot. Capturing their love was a bit easy, as any time they looked at each other Jake had Cole smiling and laughing. They wanted to have a playful session, vs. the typical posing and smiling at the camera… which was perfect for them cuz Jake is a big goofball and she can be just as silly. I brought along some bubble guns for them to play with, and it was a hit!
Shooting engagement and couples sessions like this is such a joy for me, as I get to know my couples more intimately and see how they interact — keying into how to best capture them on their wedding day.
