Being long time sweethearts and residents of the Snoqualmie Valley, F+K wanted to have their engagement session by the Snoqualmie River where they used to spend so much time together and where he proposed– aka, their spot. Shooting an engagement session in an area so special to a couple, gives such depth to the emotions felt here. And the rivers throughout Snoqualmie and North Bend are just breathtaking, especially when Mount Si is so prominent as a backdrop.

This was their first time having professional photos taken, so I kept the posing focused on each other and gave them plenty of ideas of what to do with their hands, lol. Needless to say, ya couldn’t really tell–naturals. It was a joy watching their love and laughter unfold in front of the camera. We wandered thru some of the nearby trails, captured some intimate and silly moments by a spot where they used to sit on logs and spend long evenings, then ended down by the river being playful and having a dance in the water.

I absolutely love being able to shoot locally, and show off the beauty of the valley. I never get tired of these views, and feel so lucky to call this area home for so long.
