Nestled in the scenic Skagit Valley, Stepping Stones Garden is a stunning outdoor wedding venue. It combines the charm of a boutique farm with the timeless elegance of a French country–inspired garden estate. Spanning across three beautifully landscaped acres, it strikes a harmonious balance between whimsy and romance. This creates a secluded, storybook-like setting, perfect for couples dreaming of a garden wedding. Here, rustic warmth blends with refined detail.
Walking the grounds felt like running through a secret garden. So many little hidden spots were tucked intimately amongst the blooms. Washington had a lot of rain the week prior to the wedding. This really gave the whole venue a vibrant, lush feel come wedding day. Upon arriving, it truly felt like stepping into another time. All the birds were even happily fluttering around and singing.
Celebrating an adventurous love in the Gardens
Spending the day with A+J was such a joy. These two are incredibly sweet to be around. The way they look at each other and naturally light up each other’s world is something truly special. Honestly, it’s priceless to witness. Throughout the day, it felt effortless to capture their connection. That’s because it’s so genuine and ever-present.
From the quiet moments while they were getting ready to their intimate first look and private vows, every part of their day was filled with intention and meaning. Guests signed fabric squares with personalized “good wishes” for the couple. Later, these squares were made into a quilt, wrapping them in everyone’s love. As the evening came to a close, they shared a final dance tucked away in the garden — just the two of them. In that moment, the sun broke through the clouds. It wrapped everything in the most beautiful, warm glow. This created an atmosphere that felt incredibly intimate and almost dreamlike. It was the perfect ending to a day so full of love.
